As the Engineering Manager you'll be based in our Riverside, CA location, leading the West Regional Lifecycle Services (customer service and system upgrades) activities and the assigned team. IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE: <ul> <li>Lead the engineering and administrative staff at the West Regional Operations office. Through this team, you will provide local customers with system problem resolutions, field services, contract maintenance programs, system startup coverage, system upgrades, small project implementation, project management, and more, to generate business volume growth and customer satisfaction!</li> <li>Interface effectively with key customer personnel, building positive relationships and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction through outstanding performance.</li> <li>Perform monthly project cost reviews and implement procedures to improve efficiency. Review upgrade, project, and service proposals for accurate content and ensure objectives are being met.</li> <li>Support the financial, efficiency, and quality objectives for the region: sales volume, margin, customer satisfaction, timely shipments, and high-quality startup and support service.</li> <li>Supervise and coordinate personnel, equipment, and financial resources to expand the business volume and profitability of the region.</li> <li>Work closely with the Aftermarket Sales Team to develop work scope, implement upgrades and service functions, to improve efficiency and promote teamwork in the region and throughout the organization.</li> <li>Assess employee skills and performance. Teach, mentor, and train employees to improve performance and develop toward their career goals. Cultivate a psychologically safe and fulfilling work environment to allow employees to thrive and reach their full potential.</li></ul> FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED: <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li> <li>Minimum of 7 years' related experience</li> <li>Ability to travel up to 25% </li> <li>Legal authorization to work in the United States</li></ul> PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART: <ul> <li>OV400 certification and prior Ovation and/or DCS experience is preferred.</li> <li>PE (Professional Engineer) or PMP </li> <li>Past experience as site manager or project manager </li> <li>Past demonstrated leadership </li></ul> Our Offer To You: Our compensation philosophy is simple: We pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during the annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is $120,000-$151,000, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to this role.
